Ray Gillespie, DDS, MS
Dr. Gillespie started his practice in Fort Worth in 1997. He is dedicated to providing excellent endodontic treatment. He holds a very strong and professional relationship with many dentists in the area who refer their patients to him. Dr. Gillespie’s priority is making sure you and your referring dentist are satisfied with your treatment.
Having attended dental school in Houston on a Navy scholarship, Dr. Gillespie then spent 10 years on active duty in the Navy as a general dentist. His tours included time in Spain, Guam, Puerto Rico, Japan and aboard a ship. He completed a one-year fellowship in endodontics at Naval Dental Center San Diego, after which he left the Navy and completed a two-year residency at Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago, where he earned his certificate in endodontics. He then returned to his Texas roots and moved to Fort Worth, where he has been ever since.
Valeria Pizzini, DDS
Dr. Pizzini completed her undergraduate education at Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania and then went on to receive her DDS at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. Shortly thereafter. Dr. Pizzini received her advanced Education in General Dentistry certificate from Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry. After practicing general dentistry in the DFW area for a few years, she decided to further her dental career by pursuing Endodontics, graduating from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Endodontics.
Dr. Pizzini practiced for several years in Newport News, VA while her husband was serving as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon in the US Navy. During her time in Virginia, she was also an affiliate faculty member in the Department of Endodontics at Virginia Commonwealth University. She is very excited to be back in Texas and to relocate her family to Fort Worth.
Dr. Pizzini was born and raised in Italy. In her spare time, she enjoys giving back to the community and has participated in several dental missions and T MoM projects both in Virginia and Texas. Dr. Pizzini also enjoys working with children and she provides endodontic services for Save a Smile and Gill Children’s program.
